What issues should DPS pay attention to in ethnic workers
July 19th, 2024

Briefly explain the issues to be noted during the construction of permanent liquids
1: It is necessary to shake well before using the permanent curing solution DPS. The concrete base surface must be clean and free of oil stains. The base surface must be free of floating sand and loose surface. Oil stains can be cleaned by oxalic acid dilution spraying.
2: Do not spray paint when the wind speed is above level 5, and avoid spraying when it is below 5 degrees or above 35 degrees.
3: Construction spraying cannot be carried out on rainy days. When the temperature exceeds 35 degrees, it can be sprayed with clean water to wet the base surface before construction. After construction, it should be cured in a timely manner.
4: Spray the permanent curing liquid DPS evenly without missing or re spraying, as repeated spraying may cause water marks on the concrete structure.
5: Spraying should be done from left to right and from bottom to top.
6: When sealing the leak, the crack must be opened into a V-shaped groove, and DPS can only be sprayed after the groove is washed clean.
Yang's reminder: For example, in basement A, before starting work, clean up the floating slurry and cement residue left on the overall work template, scaffolding, and base surface, cut off the steel bars in the through wall screw holes of the upstream wall, and fill and compact them with quick setting cement.
B: Check for cracks and potholes. If there are, groove the cracks into a 5X3CM V-shaped groove, spray DPS, and then fill and compact with quick setting cement before spraying DPS.
c: After repairing the wall, spray DPS evenly once.
D: Wait until it is almost dry before spraying the second coat of DPS, and wait for 15 hours for the project to be accepted.

Overall, all projects are similar, starting with cleaning the base surface, repairing cracks, and applying overall waterproofing twice. [Toilet, garage, stairs, etc.] The reason for choosing permeating crystallization permanent condensate is that the warranty period is long, environmental protection, acid and alkali resistance, freeze thaw resistance, aging resistance, etc. The disadvantage is that structural and foundation settlement affect functional effects. If there is concern about changes in the foundation, it is best to construct DPS 28 days after the project. But nowadays, most engineering projects have two layers of waterproofing: rigid and flexible, with the rigid being cement-based and permanent concrete. Flexibility: SBS, self-adhesive roll, followed by some JS, K11, etc. Of course, the selection of corresponding materials is the most crucial according to different projects.
1、 Overview of Products
The DPS penetrating crystalline waterproof material is a colorless, odorless, and non-toxic inorganic water-based waterproof material. It can increase the density of materials that require waterproof treatment, playing a role in waterproofing, reinforcement, and corrosion prevention. The catalyst in the permeable crystalline material reacts with the metal in the concrete to form an internal seal and a waterproof barrier against fluid pressure. Penetrating crystalline materials will not change the color, material, or other physical properties of the concrete surface. It will not leave any thin film on the surface. Permeable crystalline materials can maintain the liquid pressure of the material, prevent leakage, moisture, deformation, and groove formation, and when used together with other surface cleaning agents and coatings, can keep the steel in the concrete from rusting.

2、 Product performance
DPS permeable crystalline material concrete is different from any waterproof material on the market. It is a high-tech, non-toxic activated silica, and permeable spray type gel agent is sprayed on the surface of concrete or stone. It can penetrate deeply into the concrete or stone to produce chemical reaction with free alkali, generate stable crystalline substances, effectively block the capillary voids inside the concrete or stone, become a part of the concrete, and form a waterproof layer with permanent sealing (crystal) inside. This waterproof layer has the characteristics of making the outer layer more solid, dust-proof, antifouling, oil resistant and weather resistant, making grease and acid unable to enter the concrete, making mold and microorganism unable to grow on its surface and inside, and extending the life of concrete. Therefore, the application of permeable crystalline materials in concrete, Make concrete structures have long-lasting waterproof function, while also providing protection for concrete, achieving a unique effect of treating both symptoms and root causes.

3、 Application of the product
Due to its unique properties and advantages, DPS permeable crystalline materials have been widely used in the construction industry, especially for concrete floors, walls, basements, roofs, airports, swimming pools, sports fields, overpasses, tunnels, bridges, tunnels, etc. They are also widely used in commercial, industrial, residential, and property communities. The use of permeable crystalline materials protects the surface of buildings from further harm and damage, prolongs their lifespan, greatly saves maintenance, repair, and replacement costs, and is highly welcomed by users.

4、 Construction method

1. Clean the surface with machinery or other materials.

2. Spray permeable crystallization material once (the pressure of spray is 30psi).

3. Wait for 24 hours for the permeable crystalline material to air dry naturally, control the temperature/humidity of the permeable crystalline material, and maintain a relative temperature of 25%.

4. Mix the cement slurry (without sand) evenly and apply it to the construction surface.

5. Mix the cement mortar evenly and fill the construction surface. The second process must be completed within 0-8 hours, and the time must be well controlled.

6. Spray the permeable crystalline material again.

7. Wait for 24 hours to air dry.

be careful:

1. Do not let the cement slurry dry out outdoors, such as under sunlight and low humidity. If dry, spray water immediately. (Maintain humidity)

2. The best method for a large area is to divide it into zones and not mix too much cement slurry.

3. This method is suitable for all repairs, including repairing cracks, thickening large areas, and cracking.
